As is OPN’s normal practice, we interview current second-year law students and choose two who are from Virginia law schools to work as summer clerks. The ones chosen must be exceptionally qualified in their work, and have an outgoing personality and promising future. During their rotation, the summer clerk has the opportunity to work with all of our Partners, which allows them to obtain broad exposure to the practice of different types of law.
Chris Capurso is our first summer clerk for 2015. He joins us from the William & Mary School of Law and will graduate in 2016. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam in 2012. His interest is currently in Business Law and Civil Litigation, and has a forthcoming publication entitled “Burgers, Doughnuts, and Expatriations: An Analysis of the Tax Inversion Epidemic and a Solution Presented Through the Lens of the Burger King-Tim Hortons Merger”, William & Mary Business Law Review.
He enjoys long walks to the fridge, witty email replies, and when our Firm Administrator manages to spell his last name correctly. When not clerking for OPN LAW, he can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
