Biography
Whether planning proactively or planning in crisis, my knowledge and years of experience allow me to provide my clients with the tools needed to “navigate the maze” of challenges faced by the elderly and those with special needs. For most of my legal career, I have concentrated my legal practice on Elder Law and Special Needs Planning, Estate Planning and Administration, and advocacy for the elderly and those with special needs, their families, and their caregivers. I also regularly provide traditional estate planning for people of all ages.
I take a holistic approach to my practice, helping find realistic, practical solutions to address legal and other needs of our aging and special needs communities. Drawing on over forty years of substantive legal experience firmly rooted in traditional estate and incapacity planning, and utilizing personal experiences from dealing with many of the same issues within my own family, I am often able to address needs and resolve problems without going to court – unless a guardianship or conservatorship action is needed.
